Curriculum Vitae
Elisabeth Ester was born in Eisenstadt in Burgenland as the illegitimate daughter of Barbara Ester. Her mother later marries and takes the name Krupiekoc. After five years of elementary school, she starts working as an unskilled laborer.
After the defeat of Austria-Hungary, the break-up of the dual monarchy and the expulsion of the Habsburgs, she remains a monarchist and supporter of Otto von Habsburg-Lothringen.
In 1937, Elisabeth Ester had to stop working due to ill health and became a prebendary [today: early pensioner].

Petitioner
I, Mrs. Ester Elisabeth, Pfündnerin, 61 years old. Became a victim of Nazi terror in 25/7 1944. I had a prison sentence from 11/9 1944 until 15/4 1945. I had made a sacrifice for the freedom of Austria. I had to starve and freeze in prison. My suffering has now worsened under the long imprisonment. I was always blameless. I have had to go through many setbacks in my life.
And now nobody cares about me. I'm single and recently my lifestyle has been very bad. I have no fuel. My robe and shoes torn in detention. I am very desperate. I have the most humble request to Dr. Ing. and Federal Chancellor Leopold Figl to help me in my great plight and to grant me a small donation.
In the expectation that the request will be successful, I respectfully
sign my name to Elisabeth Ester 16th district Gonzagasse 39/22 in Vienna
