In England, Maximilian Reich and his family experienced the liberation of Austria and the re-establishment of the Republic in April and May 1945. They returned home on October 1, 1946. He founds the newspaper 'Wiener Montag' and is editor-in-chief there. He later worked as a journalist for the 'Weltpresse.
