Otto Kosch visits the TGM in Vienna. Already in 1921 he participated in the restoration attempt of Emperor Charles in Hungary and is detained for three months due to monarchist exaggerations. He is co-founder of the monetary student association Habsburg-Lothringen in 1923. He's engaged in the VF.

After joining in March 1938, he is written for arrest, but can remain hidden in the ground until January 1939. After his arrest, he is detained by the Gestapo for four months. After dismissal, he gets the duty to report to the police monthly. On December 1, 1939, he is arrested and accused of “state-feindual exaggerations” at the People’s Court. At the end of August 1940 he returns to Lower Austria, where he continues to engage in resistance.
