Carl Theodor Sweceny is the district advertising manager of the Patriotic Front and a tax official in Klagenfurt.
After the Anschluss, he is decommissioned on March 12, 1938 and the next day, together with other MKVers and CVers (Ignaz Tschurtschenthaler, Felix Hurdes) were arrested and held prisoner for ten days. After his imprisonment, he resumed his work at the tax office, but was finally dismissed from the civil service without any claims on November 24, 1938. He then works in a tax consultancy firm in Vienna. In 1940 he was called up for military service. He signed up for training as an economic officer, but was rejected due to his political unreliability. He then served as a radio operator in the Wehrmacht
