Curriculum Vitae

As head of the Feldkirchen political branch, Weingerl played a decisive role in preventing the Nazi putsch in July 1934, which the Nazis did not forget.

So he was removed from office after the Anschluss and arrested a short time later. On December 14, 1939, he was sent to Sachsenhausen concentration camp

[He told his men] to remain calm, but to stick together and stay in contact with each other, as the National Socialist government would not be able to hold out for long and things would soon have to change again.
