Franz Xaver Rudolf Haag

Franz Xaver Rudolf Töpfl was born in Vienna as the illegitimate son of the sculptor Franz Haag and Catharina Töpfl. One year after his birth, his parents married and Franz Töpfl took his father's name.

After finishing school, Franz Haag became a chauffeur in the federal service of the Republic of Austria. In 1935, he married Maria Hochmayer, but the marriage remained childless.
