Curriculum Vitae
Wilhelm Komarek is the son of an Austrian officer who dies soon after the birth of his son. Wilhelm takes his mother to Fiecht near Schwaz in Tyrol. Not far from this he visits the Franziskanergymnasium in Hall, where he joined Sternkorona Hall in 1895. After the Matura, he starts studying Jus
the University in Innsbruck and joins the student association Austria Innsbruck. He becomes a member of the Norica Student Association and in Graz at the Carolina Student Association.
In 1910 he completed his studies with the doctorate in Innsbruck. He then completed the training as a lawyer and settled in Reutte in 1919 as a lawyer. In addition, he is also active in the “Tirole People’s Party” and as Deputy Mayor in Reutte. Because of a serious negligence error by an employee, Wilhelm Komarek has to assume liability. This exploits its political opponents to make it impossible for him to make the professional future in Reutte impossible. He then leaves Reutte and settles in Melk as a lawyer. There he will soon be recognized as a fundamental opponent of the NS system; his intention of building a new existence for himself and his family is therefore fought by all means by this political side.
After that, he will be detained for a year. After the arrest, he can build up a new existence with the support of his federal and cartell brothers in Vienna.
In 1951, at the age of 74, he lays down his authority as RA and relocated to Tyrol, where his family has long lived in Hall.
