Curriculum Vitae

Robert Schramm takes part in the First World War and is promoted to lieutenant colonel. After the defeat of Austria-Hungary, the dismantling of the dual monarchy and the expulsion of the House of Habsburg, he joins the new Austrian army. He became involved in the Ring of Austrian Soldiers, a legitimist soldiers' association similar to the Bund jüdischer Frontsoldaten Emils von Sommer, which was very close to the Christian Social Party (CS) and later the Vaterländische Front and was committed to Austria's autonomy and independence.

After his release from prison, Robert Schramm is no longer conspicuous. He works as a clerk and experiences the liberation of Austria and the re-establishment of the Republic in 1945.

They move to Mürzzuschlag in Styria. He dies in Vienna at the age of 85
