Curriculum Vitae

Julius Nesensohn joined the secondary school fraternity Clunia Feldkirch at the age of 17. After graduating from high school in 1931, he began studying theology in Innsbruck and was ordained a priest in 1936.

As chaplain in Doren, he was taken into protective custody for four days on March 23, 1940 and sentenced to a fine of 150 Reichsmarks for donating a shirt and two pairs of socks to Polish prisoners of war in agreement with the camp management. This was followed by further assignments as chaplain in Wolfurt, as parish substitute in Hittisau and then as parish priest in Braz, Gisirrgen and Thüringerberg.

In 1983, he retired there and moved to the Herz-Jesu-Heim in RankweiL
