Curriculum Vitae

After graduating from high school, Josef Alois Gura studied veterinary medicine in Vienna and joined the Norica student fraternity in 1921. During the war, he was deployed as a staff vet in the Balkans. On October 12, 1944, he joined the Albanian partisans, to which he belonged until December 7, 1945. For this reason, he was sentenced to death in absentia by the field court of the 297th division on November 3, 1944.
