Curriculum Vitae

Karl Plankensteiner was one of the co-founders of the Norika Wilhering secondary school fraternity (later Hilaria Enns) in 1923. After graduating from high school, he studied electrical and radio engineering in Vienna and became a member of the student fraternity Babenberg Wien in 1924. He completes his studies with a degree in engineering and then joins the civil service as a teacher.

After the Anschluss, he is dismissed and works in private industry. From 1939 to 1945, he was a member of the "Meithner resistance group
