Curriculum Vitae

After the Matura at the Gymnasium in Hollabrunn, Leopold Leutgeb enters the seminary in Vienna and studies theology. 1912 he enters the student connection Amelungia . He also submits the study of religion to Gymnasium. After the priesthood in 1916, he first works as a co-operator (Kaplan) in Fischamend and Guntramsdorf, and in 1918 he takes over the parish of St. Stephan in Baden near Vienna, where he also works as a religious professor. He is one of the co-founders of the Christian Social Party in Baden and takes over a mandate as a member of the National Council from 1931 to 1934.

In 1938, he is suspended and arrested after joining the service. After his arrest, he flees over Italy to Switzerland. He dies in Bern at 57 years.
