Hannes Krasser is born as the son of the lawyer Emil Krasser. His mother is Friederike, geb. Wild, a daughter of the fine food trader and k. k. court supplier Dominik Wild, who, together with his brother Joseph Wild (F-B EM), leads the relevant company Gebrüder Wild.
After the primary school at the school brothers in Vienna-Fünfhaus (Gebrüder-Lang-Gasse), Krasser completed the secondary school in Vienna-Mariahilf (Amerlingstraße) in 1939. After that he goes to the Reichsarbeitsdienst in order to comply with the admission regulations for his studies. In the autumn of 1939 he began studying at the Faculty of Law and State Sciences of the University of Vienna (Dr. iur. 1946). On 15.01.1940 he joins the “illegal” underlying student connection Norica. He is one of the 72 proven CVerns that joined an Austrian CV connection during the Nazi period.
At the end of April 1941, Hannes Krasser will be admitted to the Court of Justice, but already on 1st. May 1941 moved to the German Wehrmacht (Sanitätsersatz Abteilung XVII Wien). In 1942 he was transferred to Linz. He can take acting lessons at the Landestheater Linz and take appropriate examinations in May 1944 (Eignungsprüfung I and II). At the end of the war, he acts as a subofficial in Linz in the US prison of war and can return to Vienna on adventurous routes at the end of August 1945.
After the war, Hannes Krasser became a lawyer and engaged in the ÖVP, where he first became a councillor and a councilman and later became a councilman.
