Curriculum Vitae

Through a special effort and at the risk of her own life, the provisional headmistress Holubowsky Maria, born 22.8.1894, salvaged the entire stock of class reading material and teaching aids of all kinds from the destroyed third floor of the school at Herzgasse 27, and also carried, cleaned and organized illustrative material from the rubble in the destroyed conference room. The physical apparatus hidden in the basement was thoroughly cleaned and placed in the cabinets. She also managed the debris removal operation with great care and lent a hand herself. She played an active role in the preparations for the Academy. She is always willing to put her free time at the service of the school.

The district school inspector to the city school board on June 14, 1946

Maria Holubowsky retired in August 1956 and died single and childless in Vienna at the age of 84.
