Corps Marchia Vienna Corps Marchia Wien
The Corps Marchia was founded on November 17, 1888.
Due to the increasing radicalization of the student body in the 1890s, which led to the "Waidhofen Resolutions" declaring Jews dishonorable (no more honor affairs, such as duels, with Jews), massive tensions arose between the völkisch (German nationalist) and liberal-parity fraternities (fraternities that accepted both Jews and non-Jews). Corps Marchia broke off relations with all fraternities that adopted the Waidhofen principle.
The Corps Marchia was forcibly disbanded in 1938. Today, the Corps Marchia only exists as an alumni association.Homepage: www.corps-marchia.at
