Oblate Monastery Maria Taferl OMI

The Oblates of Mary Immaculate are a missionary religious order within the Roman Catholic Church. The congregation was founded in 1816 by St. Eugene of Mazenod. Its members are also known as "Oblatenmissionare" or, in Germany, "Hünfelder Oblaten".

The Oblate Missionaries have been responsible for the pilgrimage site and pastoral care in Maria Taferl since 1969. Maria Taferl is the largest Marian shrine in the province of Lower Austria and the diocese of St. Pölten.
