Rossauer Lände police station
The Rossauer Lände police building (Rossauer Lände 5-9, 1090 Vienna) is now home to the Vienna State Criminal Police Office (LKA), the Rossauer Lände police detention center and various other police stations. During the Nazi occupation of Austria, it was the first stop for many Austrian anti-fascists after their arrest. Due to its location on the Elisabethpromenade (street name from 1903-1919), it was known as the "Elisabethpromenade police prison" and was also popularly known as the "Liesl" police prison.
