St. Florian Abbey - Can.Reg.

The baroque Sankt Florian Abbey, one of the largest and most famous monasteries in Austria, is located in the market town of St. Florian near Linz in Upper Austria. The collegiate church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary (patron saint's day August 15) is a parish church and basilica minor.

A community of Augustinian canons has existed here since 1071.
