The Redemptorist College and the church Maria am Gestade

Since 1820, the Redemptorists have looked after one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in Austria: Maria am Gestade. It is the second-oldest church in Vienna and a pilgrimage church in the heart of the city.

The relics of the patron saint of Vienna, Holy Father Klemens Maria Hofbauer, are also kept there. Klemens Maria Hofbauer.

In addition to the German-speaking parish, Maria am Gestade also has a French-speaking and a Czech-speaking parish.
