Curriculum Vitae

Leopold Müksch is a member of the Rede- und Leseverein christlich-deutscher Hochschüler, from which the student fraternity Amelungia emerges. He was one of the founding members in 1907. He completed his studies in civil engineering from 1906 to 1911 at the Technical University in Vienna with a degree in engineering. After working in various companies, he went to the Polytechnic in Juiz de Fora in Brazil in 1913, where he taught descriptive and applied geometry as well as road, bridge and hydraulic engineering. He was interned during the First World War and returned to Austria in 1920. He was given a lectureship at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, where he also completed his doctorate. In 1922, he also worked in the industrial inspectorate.

In the late fall of 1938, he was imprisoned by the Gestapo in Vienna on Morzinplatz for around six weeks, after which he was dismissed from his job and forced to retire. He then took on a job as a site manager in a civil engineering company.
