Ludwig Krausz-Vienna comes from an obervious family and is born in Vienna. He goes to school in Vienna, but interrupted it in 1922 to join the Russian Wrangel army, who fights against the Communists as part of the White Army in the Russian Civil War. But as the Russian civil war ends immediately after that, it is no longer used, but returns to school and maturates in 1926 at the Humanist Gymnasium. After that, he insulates Jus and History at the University of Vienna, but later the studies cease. During this time he joined the student association Ottonen.
Ludwig Krausz-Vienna does not carry out continuous professional activities, but carries out occasional orders. especially family-friendly nature for acquaintances. Later he joined the Viennese homeland protection and the fatherland front. He works here with Hans Karl Frhr. Zeßner von Spitzenberg together.
Ludwig Krausz-Wienner is present at the Ottonen Executive Board meeting in the back room of Café Votiv on the evening of the occupation of Austria, when they decide to dissolve formally and enter resistance. It is intended as a “police chief” of the legitimate organization within the administrative district of Vienna, Lower Austria and Upper Austria. Krausz-Wienner is contactman to Franz Freiherr Mac Ennis in Bratislava and Karl Fridiger in Prague.
Ludwig Krausz-Vienna is arrested on 29.10.1938 by the Gestapo. He is charged for preparation for high treason and in the main trial of the Volksgerichtshof of 7th. December 1943 to December 9, 1943 sentenced to eight years of breeding house. He is transferred from Vienna to the Straubing farm in January 1944. From there they will be on the 25th due to the moving American troops. April 1945 in March. After the war, he works in the field of historical research. On 9 May 1978, Ludwig Krausz-Wienner founded the association “The former resistance group of the Corps Ottonen”, which was established until 10. May 1985.
