After the school in Bludenz, Lorenz Emil Konzett visits the Gymnasium in Feldkirch, where he is admitted to the Clunia secondary school in 1923. In 1927 he maturates and goes to Graz to study law. He will be a member of the Carolina Student Association in the same year. In the autumn of 1929 he moved to Vienna to continue his studies and became a member of the student association Alpenland, in Innsbruck he received his doctorate in 1932. Then he returns to his homeland. In addition to his studies, he is also employed in a variety of occupations: in 1933/34 he is employed in the General Secretariat of the Christian Social Party, in May 1934 he is responsible for the tasks of the Managing Director of the VF in Vorarlberg, and in 1935 he is a senior secretary of the Landesgewerbeverband Vorarlberg.
After that, he is arrested by the new rulers, taken away from his post and held in custody until 30.4.1938 without further charges. Once again, he gets Gauverweis. He is then unemployed for a period of time and then assumes various activities, e.g. at the Vorarlberger non-profit housing and settlement company in Dornbirn, until it becomes German on 25.3.1943
Wehrmacht is taken in. On 4.11.1944, he arrives at the Westfront in the US prison of war, from which he is released on 11.3.1946.
After the war, he will be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Industry; He exercises this function until his retirement on 1972. He is also responsible for the ÖVP community of Feldkirch and Landtags.
