Otto Hornberger received his doctorate in law on February 17, 1939. He was drafted into the German army in May 1940 and did not return to Vienna until 1950. In his personal status sheet, he reports that he has been sentenced by the field court FPNo. 20531 for desertion. Due to a "Nazi denunciation", he spent "40 months in prison in Tirana".
After the war, Otto Hornberger is an employee of the Chamber of Commerce for Vienna.
