Curriculum Vitae
The Burgenlander Karl Posch studied law in Vienna and, after completing his doctorate, became an honorary member of the Burgenland student fraternity Austro-Peisonia in Eisenstadt in 1934. In the 1930s, he was a provincial councillor in Burgenland and a functionary of the VF.
On March 11, 1938, he was arrested by fanatical SA members, taken to the Eisenstadt prison and held there until May 31, 1938. After the failed assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler on July 20, he was imprisoned again in the Vienna police prison from August 22, 1944 to October 17, 1944.
