Curriculum Vitae

After finishing commercial school, Josef Lassner initially worked as a "commercial assistant" in various companies before joining the district tax office in 1908.

After the First World War, in addition to his job as a tax official, he also worked as the district organization manager of the VF. In 1936, he was awarded honorary membership of Waldmark Neunkirchen. Because of his activities with the VF, he is arrested immediately after the Anschluss in Neunkirchen, interrogated and spends several days in police custody. On May 23, 1939, he was forced to retire. From April 1939 to July 1945, he worked as a cashier at the Neunkirchen Volksbank.
