Curriculum Vitae

In the night of March 10, 1938 to March 11, 1938, medical student Franz Finstermann, who had joined the Vindobona I secondary school fraternity in 1929 and the Austria Wien student fraternity in 1933, marches through Vienna's VIII district with an Austrian propaganda group (CVers and workers) shouting "Heil Schuschnigg".

In front of the "Fiorianihof" café on the corner of Fiorianigasse and Fuhrmannsgasse, there was a clash with members of SS-Standarte 89, during which Heinz Geiger was seriously injured by gunshots, as were his fraternity brothers Franz Finstermann and August Rettenbacher. They had to be taken to hospital afterwards.
