Curriculum Vitae

Ludwig Magreiter attended grammar school in Hall in Tyrol. In 1903, he joined the Sternkorona Hall secondary school fraternity, which still existed in secret at the time. After graduating from high school, he went to Prague to study law, where he joined the Saxo-Bavaria student fraternity in 1907. After some time, he returned to Tyrol, became a member of the student fraternity Austria Innsbruck and completed his studies with a doctorate in law. The next stage of his life was military service in the First World War and Russian captivity in Vladivostok.

After the First World War, he opened a law firm in Zell am See, where he soon became deputy mayor.

After the Anschluss, he was arrested twice and imprisoned for a long time. Once released, he had to leave Zell and moved to Vienna.
