Curriculum Vitae
After his ordination to the priesthood in Brixen Cathedral in 1914, Michael Weiskopf was a cooperator at various pastoral offices until he was appointed editor of the "Tiroler" in Bolzano from 1917 to 1922. After his expulsion from South Tyrol in 1922, he set up the Tyrolean Catholic Secretariat, later the pastoral care office, of the Apostolic Administration in Innsbruck.
Here he was imprisoned for the first time at the beginning of April 1940 in the police prison for listening to Radio Vatican. A short time later, he was imprisoned for a few days for a sermon and from February 6, 1941 to February 14, 1941 for a press matter. From April 18, 1941 to May 1, 1941, he was imprisoned for a forbidden pilgrimage and the theft of the Waldras miraculous image.
