HR Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Hans Bertl

Hans Bertl comes from Vienna-Leopoldau and is born the son of a farmer ("landowner"). After elementary school, he first attended a secondary school in Vienna, but changed to the secondary school in Waidhofen an der Thaya in the upper school, where he joined the Catholic secondary school fraternity Rugia in 1926. After graduating from high school in 1929, he began studying agriculture at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (DI 1933), where he joined the Fanco-Bavaria student fraternity.

After completing his studies, Hans Bertl joined the Lower Austrian Chamber of Agriculture in 1934 and later transferred to the Vienna Chamber of Agriculture. He was immediately dismissed following the Anschluss in March 1938 and was first employed in road construction and then as an animal husbandry inspector.
