Dr. Karl Bohle

Karl Bohle was born the son of an accountant. During his secondary school years, he joined the Catholic secondary school fraternity Siegberg Dornbirn. After graduating from high school, he began studying at the Faculty of Law at the University of Innsbruck (Dr. iur. 1947) but was soon drafted into the German Wehrmacht and seriously wounded in 1943.

Karl Bohle was then able to return home and continue his studies in Innsbruck, where he joined the underground/resistance Austria Innsbruck one day before the coup against Adolf Hitler.
