Curriculum Vitae

Ernst Wirth-Purtscheller first attended the Franciscan grammar school in Hall/Tyrol, where he joined the Sternkorona Hall secondary school fraternity in 1906. He then transferred to the grammar school in Horn, where he joined the Waldmark Horn secondary school fraternity. After graduating from high school, he went to Vienna to study law and became a member of the student fraternity Austria Wien in 1908. In 1909, he went to Innsbruck to continue his studies and became active in the Leopoldina Innsbruck student fraternity. He does not finish his studies and joins the financial administration of the state of Lower Austria.

In addition, he is involved in the VF and becomes district leader for the Tulln district. From 1936 to 1938, he is a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament.
