Michael Juffinger completed his theological studies in Innsbruck and was admitted to the student fraternity Austria Innsbruck in 1893. After his ordination to the priesthood on 14.7.1895, he was initially appointed co-operator (chaplain) in Faistenau and then moved to various pastoral positions until he became parish priest of the Kundl parish in 1913 (until 1948). He also worked as a curator at the provincial heritage office in Kundl in Tyrol and was involved in local history research.
