Curriculum Vitae
Herbert Werner emigrated to London with his parents in March 1938. There, at the age of 16, he volunteered for a commando operation. He parachuted over Vienna, landed on the Kahlenberg and was able to successfully complete the commando operation, although his comrades who had parachuted with him lost their lives. Herbert Werner then lived underground until the end of the war.
