Karl Simon studied at the TH Wien Building and joined Pflug in 1924. [After the war, the plough is no longer reactivated and some of the members of the student association Pflug, including Karl Simon, are taken over by the student association Franco-Bavaria, the mother association.] After studying, he becomes a teacher at the federal schools in Vienna and Villach.

On March 14th, 1938, Karl Simon was suspended from the service and arrested after a visit to the house on March 1, 1939. He stays in prison for 6 months.

After the war, he returns to the teaching profession.
