Curriculum Vitae

Hans Rasch grew up in Mühlfeld near Horn. In the winter semester of 1927/28, he went to the teacher training college in St. Pölten and was accepted into the Aggstein St. Pölten secondary school association in 1928. After graduating in 1932, he became a teacher in Gars am Kamp.

After the Anschluss, he was arrested there by the National Socialists and imprisoned for some time. He was then transferred to Nesteiberg am Ötscher and later drafted into the Wehrmacht. He was a prisoner of war until 1946.
