Curriculum Vitae

Vinzenz Maria Joahnn Moser attended the Franciscan grammar school in Hall/Tyrol and joined the secondary school fraternity Sternkorona Hall in 1899. After graduating from high school, he became a canon of the Premonstratensian monastery in Wilten in 1900. He took his solemn vows there in 1904 and was ordained a priest in the same year. He began his pastoral work as a cooperator in Gries im Sellrain and then took over the parish of Tulfes as a priest.

In 1940, he was imprisoned for ten weeks for alleged "pulpit abuse" under the "Heimtückegesetz" (Home Rule Act).
